Gumdrop Pumpkins

A few years ago I made these cute and simple gumdrop pumpkins with my boys.  Since Halloween is just a few days away, I thought I would revive this fun little activity on the blog.

They are so simple to make - - just take two orange wedge candies, trim down the crescent shaped side so that it is straight and all the sugar is trimmed off, then place those sticky sides together. Cut a small green gumdrop into fourths to be used as the stem, and press it into the middle of the pumpkin.

These are so simple and hardly any mess, plus the kids will love this activity.

I didn't want my boys eating too many of these cute gumdrop pumpkins, so we dropped off a few to some of our favorite people to say Happy Halloween!!
